SunShine Care Inc. Personal Care Agency provides personal care services to individuals of all ages and backgrounds whom receive Medicaid only.
We hire, orientate, and train the client's choice of personal care worker (for example: a family member or friend) to meet the client's specific needs. Client personal care workers are supervised by our Registered Nurses.
Our Registered Nursing team will work with you on a one-to-one basis to develop an individual care plan that fits your specific needs that may include, but are not limited to:
- Assistance with bathing
- Teeth, mouth, denture and hair care
- Assistance with mobility and ambulation including use of walker, cane or crutches
- Skin care excluding wound care
- Assistance with dressing and undressing
- Toileting, including use and care of bedpan, urinal, commode or toilet;
- Light cleaning in essential areas of the home used during personal care service activities
- Meal preparation, food purchasing and meal serving
- Accompanying the recipient to obtain medical diagnoses and treatment

We are equipped to provide medical interpreters for agency clients whom speak:

We will hire, orientate, and train your choice of personal care worker (for example: a family member or friend). Our PCWs are allowed to work for clients only after they:
- Go through the hiring process
- Pass a caregiver background check
- Are screened for Tuberculosis and other communicable diseases
- Receive orientation and training
- Demonstrate skills in the specific services they will perform for the clients
